Daily Awareness: There is no time like the present....
Daily Awareness: There is no time like the present....: "There is no time like the present to right a wrong
No time like the present to forgive yourself or another
No time like the present to love as if today is the last
No time like the present to extend the hand of friendship asking nothing in return
No time like the present to simply give to another
No time like the present to be there to hear another in their time of despair, time of fear, time of confusion
There is no time like the present to simply love for the sake of love
A love that expects nothing in return
A love that is purely from the space of the heart
When you are lonely be a friend
When you are hungry find someone to feed
When you are fearful find someone to console
It is in the ability to get outside of our own needs we are able to find the greatest comfort, love and meaning.

Drop the Excuses - Your Daily Cup of Inspiration!: "Are all four-year-olds as dramatic as mine? Likely, mothers of young ones will each emphatically say yes and share their own funny stories. Well, lately, little Kaleb has adopted a new habit to add to all the other entertaining and quirky things he routinely does.
Initially, he'll be playing, jumping, and laughing with his sisters and brother; but whenever time comes to pick up his toys or do anything he deems unpleasant, Kaleb suddenly becomes 'lame' and incapacitated. 'I can't walk,' he'll say, with a look of agony on his face, while whimpering and developing a limp out of the blue. Somehow, it never seems to occur to Kaleb that, while he's walking, albeit with an extremely poorly portrayed limp, he's doing the very thing he's claiming he cannot do.
The other day, when I sent him to collect his matchbox cars after strewing them all over the floor, he told me all abut how he was unable to do it, because of his new emergency medical condition called leg failure."

GROW Africa: "WOW...A day without a shower
I am on a trip in NYC at a seminar this weekend. I am staying in Soho and the trip has been amazing, well, until yesterday. Our hotel was doing routine maintenance that caused the water to be shut off from midnight to 5am. Unfortunately, when I needed a shower at 6am, the maintenance was not finished and I was without any running water."

Oh but for the Joy
Oh but for the Joy the joy that was set before him he endured the cross. Many times I had heard this word ,but the meaning was far from me. It was one of those scriptures that come to life only in time.Today my time has come. I guess I have always known what it meant for some time , but now I 'am living it. I remember asking my self what joy can be found in pain especially on a cross. It is said that the worst death of that time was to be crucified, yet he speaks of joy.Not only was it the worst form of death ,but the Bible says cursed is a man that is hanged on a tree. Yet Jesus was speaking of a joy beyond death, beyond pain, beyond persecution.O but for the Joy that was set before me refers to the ending of a thing rather than the beginning. He knew that the ultimate joy would come through pain. That mankind would be redeemed through the blood he shed on the cross, that was the joy that was set before him the redemption of man.He died for us while we were yet sinners. My Revelation came with my son giving him all that I knew how yet suffering persecution misunderstanding , and open defiance yet looking for the joy that is set before me. Giving of my self in faith, love ,hope praying that my labor will not be in vain yet giving it anyway.
For consider him that endured such contradictions of sinners against himself, lest ye be weired and faint in your mind
For consider him that endured such contradictions of sinners against himself, lest ye be weired and faint in your mind
Not long ago, I was reading chapter 12 of the Bible's book of Hebrews where it says, "For the joy set before Him, Jesus endured the cross." I'd read those words many times, but for some reason this particular day, it really caught me. I leaned back in my chair and thought, "What joy? What joy could there possibly have been in an awful, hell-ridden thing like that?" I prayed and prayed, and after the longest time, words rose in my heart; words for me, words for you, words for everyone reading this page and beyond, for He has the same heart, the same hope, the same desire and passion for everyone and for all:
"The joy set before Me was you.
You are My joy.
That the day would come when we would share sweet companionship,
today, tomorrow, and for all eternity.
It is you, My beloved. It is you."
You are My joy.
That the day would come when we would share sweet companionship,
today, tomorrow, and for all eternity.
It is you, My beloved. It is you."

***Learning How To Love Yourself
***Learning How To Love Yourself
The most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. Yet, how often have you heard yourself say, "I am my own worst enemy"? If your goals involve raising your confidence, ending depression, moving beyond diets or overeating behaviors, or just plain wanting to live a happier, fulfilled life, you have to know what self-love looks like. Learn how to define self-love and then how to bring it into your own life!
Oscar Wilde once stated, "To love oneself is the beginning of a life-long romance." Love is a mystery and not easily definable. However, it does have certain characteristics. Self-love is a consuming passion for your own happiness. It is an ongoing choice you make to be glad to alive, here on Earth, in your own body.
Self-love occurs when you decide who you are and what you want is important. It is an inner state of being which develops as you decide it is all right to build a kind, sensuous, and meaningful partnership with your self. Self-love involves deciding to connect with your dreams and then supporting yourself with encouraging thoughts and empowering self-supportive actions.
Defining Self-Love
Self-love is not so much a feeling as it is a decrease of self-doubt and self-disapproval. It involves an ever-growing sense of balance and belonging. Respect, responsibility for self, and feeling good are important values. Self-love means that your well-being matters to yourself unconditionally and in practical terms. The following are some characteristics of self-loving people:

• You are valuable. Nothing can change that.

How to Develop and Nurture Love
Increasing your love of self involves an intention to become more self-loving and then following up this intention with reinforcing actions. An intention involves a conscious decision to be happier and more fulfilled in your own life. You make a new decision to be alive . . . and then accept personal responsibility to make your life a better, more enjoyable experience. It may take considerable effort to pry yourself out of a life that feels less than joyful, but it is entirely possible to have the kind of life you want for yourself. Below are some practical ideas of how to begin expanding your love of self:

Love may be a mystery. The good news is that the art of increasing self-love is not so mysterious. In fact, it is something you can learn through knowledge and practice. Imagine your self-love as a seed inside of you. Even if it is just a tiny, unnourished, seed right now, you have the ability to grow that seed into something spectacular. The growth of your self-love is not going to happen overnight. However, by taking certain actions, your seed will most assuredly grow. Today, make a commitment to yourself to nurture your inner seed of love. Ask yourself, "How can I be more loving to myself today?" Use your imagination and come up with several possibilities. Then, follow through with your thoughts and put them into action. Do this every day, and watch as you begin to create the loving life you deserve.
